Hi, I am looking for a good dvd player, that I could use to record dvd's of shows, and if possible be DIVX certified, with playback and recording options of divx, mpg(1,2,4), and avi if possible....(I recently purchased a phuilips dvd player that recognizes a lot of video formats(very satisfied with it), but unfortunetly it does not recognize mpg 4 vidoe formats.) Im looking for something that is reliable, and would last me a while
...not to mentione play the newer vidoe file formats.
Im mainly planing on using it to record favourite tv shows, and convert VHS tapes to dvd's, something that would have a good visual quality when archiving the vidoes...so i guess mpg4
My budget is about $120/$130
