Hi, I am looking for a good dvd player, that I could use to record dvd's of shows, and if possible be DIVX certified, with playback and recording options of divx, mpg(1,2,4), and avi if possible....(I recently purchased a phuilips dvd player that recognizes a lot of video formats(very satisfied with it), but unfortunetly it does not recognize mpg 4 vidoe formats.) Im looking for something that is reliable, and would last me a while;)...not to mentione play the newer vidoe file formats.

Im mainly planing on using it to record favourite tv shows, and convert VHS tapes to dvd's, something that would have a good visual quality when archiving the vidoes...so i guess mpg4 ;)

My budget is about $120/$130

Apprecieate all advice greately,

Thank You.
