Hey everyone,
I recently purchased a Panasonic SA-PT450 home theatre system, it upscales DVD's to HD 1080p so i got a Component cable (from some company called GoldX or something). With normal AV connections (yellow, red, white) everything works fine (except for the lack of quality lol).
When i use the component cable, with my HD ready Samsung 950MW, the screen constantly flicks from what im watching (the DVD, the Menu, the setup, whatever) to complete black randomly then back again.
Is this a problem with my component cables, or my TV, or my home theatre system?
Any ideas/help are greatly apprecieated!
Thanks,
DragSta

You got rip off if they say it's a component cable.
Yellow / White / Red - is a composite cable not component cable.
Component cables use Red / Blue / Green RCA cables or sometimes refer to as Y/Cb/Cr or Y/Pb/Pr depending on the company on what they use before the Y/_b/_r, which uses Color Stream Signal.
Although yellow/white/red is not component cable you can still use the cable, just make sure your connecting it to the corresponding terminals.
