All of these monitors are great, and all in my price range. I would like 1:1 hardware scaling, my video card can't handle 1920x1200 games very well. I'll use it mostly for HD DVDs via an xbox 360 drive hooked up to my PC

I'm thinking about the BenQ monitor

I was looking at getting the BenQ FP241WZ before I decided to look at something bigger.

The FP241W initially had problems with 1:1 bitmapping (November 2006 firmware), but all monitors with the January 2007 firmware date has resolved the issue.

The WZ model handles 1:1 bitmapping correctly and adds some new technologies, the most talked about is BFI or Black Frame Insertion to simulate image quality of a CRT. If I remember correctly, BFI has 4 settings in addition to off which is good since BFI doesn't always improve image quality (depending on the person).

I also was looking at getting the BenQ, but went with the Dell on sale because for the significant difference in price (got it for ~$600 after tax). I am very satisfied with the monitor. I watch a great deal of movies, have played a few games and watch HDTV on the monitor and it is fantastic at handling all tasks.
