Heys guys, I've recently been interested in pc gaming, so I figured I'll first learn a thing or two on how to build computers. As I was searching on how to, I found this site, and hence this forum, which has been greatly helpful. Though I had never posted before and just recently signed up, Im hoping you guys will answer a question I have on restoring my system. Well anyway, I own a Emachine T3985, I know i changed the hard drive and im not sure, but I believe I also changed the power supply. I had a virus recently attack my computer, and since I only really used this certain pc for surfing and some light gaming, I didnt really think twice about restoring, since i didnt have any important files saved. Well I put the restore cd that came with my pc in the disc drive and followed all the on screen instructions. After completing all the steps, my pc restarted and stops at the blue screen that says, "Please wait while Windows prepares to start....." I have left the computer on over night and it has not gone off this page. What should I do? Should i just wait for a couple more hours or what, and does this happen everythime during restoring.

additional notes, I'm trying to run Windows Xp, i beleive i bought my computer in 2005.
