Hdmi Cable for connection from speakers to hdtv

Hey, I recently bought a hdtv 1080p with a speaker system that comes with it from bestbuy.

I was told to get a hdmi cable to connect the speakers to the tv with it. I bought the hdmi cable for $80 from bestbuy then when I went online to newegg I found out that they sell the hdmi cables on newegg for around 20$-30$,I'm wondering is there any major difference in these cables should I just get the newegg hdmi cables? Please help!

The same cable when properly searched for can be had for less than $10w/shipping

Honestly, and I don't mean to be rude, but shouldn't this kind of research be done BEFORE you drop your dough on something???
