Solved How to clear recent files from 'run' Tags: Windows 7 Last response: September 18, 2012 4:28 PM in Windows 7 Share kronosjt September 16, 2012 2:56:02 PM When i start run and type any drive letter e.g: D, then all the recently opened items from that drive are listed. How do I clear this list? The exact problem is described in this thread as well and I've tried the solution mentioned here: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/10723-63-windows-clea... But this only prevents new items from being added to the list. It does not remove the items already in the list. Help please!!
