Been looking at a Hanns-G widescreen with some nice reviews, but heard horror stories about customer service if they go bad. Heard some problems with Samsung but nothing I can see other than customer reviews on Newegg.
The two monitors I am looking at:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824254016 Hanns·G HG-192DJB Black 19"
and
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001094 SAMSUNG 906BW Black 19"
Now I know that Samsung is an established maker of LCD's and Hanns-G is relatively new. However there is alot of favorable reviews for many of the Hanns-G products and relatively few complaints. And the picture looks great on both of these, but the Samsung doesn't come with a DVI cable. Accordingly the lack of the cable and use of VGA makes the monitor have issues until DVI is used.
On a last note, if I want a 2ms (GTG) refresh I can get:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824254015 Hanns·G HG-191RPB
and for less than the upper two. I think the other Hanns is more expensive do the the ability to Swivel into portrait mode.
