okay , dumb question , i want to save my old BIOS on floppy , I try to create a bootable system floppy under WIN 2000 , so i can put FLASH.EXE onto it...

Normally the command is FORMAT A:/S , then copy the FLASH .EXE proggy on to the floppy then boot???

Is that a Win 98 command , because when i try it i get

"FORMAT A:/S not recognised as an internal or external command..."

what am i doing wrong ???

thankyou

there isn't a /s switch in NT/2K/XP. There are 2 options:

make a 98 boot diskette, you can get one here

or you can sort of do it with the 2K install CD, go to the VALUADD directory, select 3DPARTY\ CA_ANTIV\ MAKEDISK.BAT

It's always the one thing you never suspected.
