I just installed the SB X-Fi Fatal1ty card and I turned on my comp, some red light on the card is on, some kind of voltage symbol. I looked through all the stuff that came with the card, and I didnt see any mention of this light...is it supposed to be on or is there a voltage problem?

it's normal, it is just the standard red theme of fatality products.
