Hi Guys.. I dont know anything about HDTVs. Could you please help and give suggestions regarding this HDTV Panasonic Viera 50OX80u LCD 50" TV and Olevia 537H LCD 37" TV. I know the size difference. I just want to know the quality of the two TVs. Because Im planning to use it for my XBOX 360. Thanks Guys in advance.
First, the Panasonic is not an LCD. It's a plasma. You might want to do some research on the differences.
The Panasonic has three HDMI inputs (one front) whereas the Olevia only has one. Price and size not being issues, I'd next be looking at how many devices I could connect. With the Olevia, I'd either constantly reaching behind the unit to swap out the XBox 360 HDMI cable for the cable box HDMI cable or I'd have to choose one for HDMI and one for cable.
With the Panasonic, I could connect my cable box to a rear HDMI port and the XBox to the front HDMI port (so I can easily disconnect it and get it out of the way) and I'd still have an available HDMI port for my PC.
So after researching the differences between plasma and LCD (pros and cons of both), I'd decide which is more important: number of connections or the pros and cons.
