Z520 atom processor downclocks when running on battery! Tags: Battery Processors Laptops Last response: July 24, 2009 8:20 PM in Laptops & Notebooks Share izac55 July 24, 2009 6:12:11 PM It downgrades the multiplier from x10 to x6. I have tried changing the powerscheme to always on and checking my bios to see if I can disable speedstep. No luck. I run a acer aspire 0751h. Its so frustrating i want to control the speed myself. I want to run at full speed when surfing on battery and not carry my power adapter everywhere. Any suggestions? Download the RightMark CPU Clock Utility: http://cpu.rightmark.org/download.shtml I just put it on my computer to see if you could disable EIST and for me atleast it allows that change. Give it a shot. izac55 July 24, 2009 7:50:37 PM hmm I got it installed but cant find that setting. Is it a pro version option. Where did you find in your computer? Can't find your answer ? Ask !
