Anyone ever concider a U5 type solution

what would be the pros and cons to getting a U5 RAID.

for instance the suggestion i made in the Case's' Mod's Forum.

Don't those things use ide hard drives? That sort of chokes your performance
Just get a supermicro case with hotswap sata. Or if you want to be uber leet get a case with hotswap scsi A scsi array would own all, for a price
