Hi,

My name is Jeff. I am very new when it comes to digital cameras.

I was wondering if anyone can compare these two models for me.

I just want a powerful camera that's easy to use, ideally with a short startup time, a fast shutter, and hopefully what I see in the viewer isn't too different from the naked eye.

Go with the Lumix LX3 man. I've been dreaming about that gadget for weeks now!

I think it has what you're looking for, and it even has a mount for the dSLR flashes.
