I installed Windows Server 2003 SP1 on DELL and HP workstations.
I also installed MS Office 97 on both workstations.
Here the steps I did when I encounter the error:
1. Open MS Access and create a blank database (db1.mdb).
2. In the Forms tab, create a new form.
3. Select Design View and click OK button.
4. The new form will be displayed. Select the Command button from the toolbox.
5. Create a Command button inside the form by pointing the mouse inside the form. Press, drag and release the left mouse button.
6. Then the MS Access will be terminated.
I did this steps on my HP workstations, but I did not encountered the problem.
Situation:
This is just a simple test for me to check if MS Access is running.
There are some other errors in MS Access that I encountered (like GetWindowsDirectory command) that when executed it terminates MS Access.
My client is using MS Office 97 and will not upgrade to other latest version of MS Office.
