Win 7 and motherboard drivers

Last response: in Windows 7

I am a first-time build who has just completed the assembly of my computer. Tomorrow, I will be installing Win 7 Home Premium on my machine. Just for some reference, my mobo is the AsRock Z77 Extreme4 and my graphics card is the Gigabyte 660Ti.

I had a question regarding the process: After getting Windows installed, I plan on replacing the default drivers loaded (for chipset, NIC, etc.) with ones from the AsRock site. Is it necessary for me to uninstall the existing ones before doing so? How about for the graphics card?

Thank you in advance!

You don't need to uninstall the old drives, and the video card will probably not be detected properly anyway. After a base Windows setup, you won't have any issues with just updating the drivers without deleting the old ones.
