I have a a logitech heaset, and I have been having problems with the microphone. When I first got it a couple months ago it was fine, I messed around with a few settings, and switched it back.

Right now on ventrilo, it doesnt pick my voice up all of the time. Also in games on steam (team fortress 2 at the moment) I have not been able to use voice chat, even though my microphone is set very high, and the in game transmit volume is very high as well.

Anything that could be the cause of this?
