Ok, so I got a radeon 3850 and also a 8800 gts 640 mb card, and an Auzentech Prelude. Say I wanted to get DVI out and optical/coax out to pipe to an HDMI. Is there anyway that's possible? I would guess you would need an receiver but I don't know any that has a DVI input anyway. And how do you get sound out of a graphics card if it only has DVI? Sound doesn't travel on a DVI right? I actually haven't received the radeon card for the record. I wish they had a HDMI port on the graphcis card and a plug on the card that I could send digital out from my sound card to the graphics card out the HDMI.

There are video cards with HDMI and I believe you need an internal connection between the audio and video card to get the audio. There are converters from DVI to HDMI and you should be able to run the optical/coax out from the video card to the receiver if both have the connection
