Boom headset mic without earpiece?

Hello,

I've been searching the Internet and local stores for some time now but can't seem to find this product. Can any please help me out?

What I'm looking for is a good gaming mic with a boom, so its worn like a headset, but without earpiece speakers. I already have a very good set of headphones.

The reason the boom is important is because I want to be able to speak very quietly and still be heard without having to turn the gain way up. My wife and I have a new baby and my office is next door to the nursery so I need to be able speak softly when he's sleeping.

The few desktop mics I've tried did not work very well...I either had to speak up, turn the gain to silly levels, or lean right into the mic.
