Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? In the past 3 years I bought 4 DVD recorders (vcr combo models) and in each case they become unable to record after about 6 months of use. I use a DVD cleaner disk but I wonder if it's getting the record gizmo or just the one that plays (if they are different). The message I get when trying to record is usually something like "CANNOT RECORD ON THIS DISC," but the disc is fine. I can take it over to my PC and record on it there. This problem baffels me. Does anybody have any suggestions?
