I've just installed the software for my Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS Gamer Edition and when I startup my machine now I am getting 2 annoying messages. One that says something about the Service Database being locked.. and another that says "At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Use Event Viewer for details" So I used Event Viewer and this is what it brought up. "Application Error Redords" "Secuurity Audit Records" "System Error Records" In a few spots it shows "Error" Application Hang" I see Creative listed a few times as well but not with an error X by it as well as DCOM What does this all mean anyway to fix it? I've also noticed the PS/2 port doesnt seem to be responding to any connectivity.

Does device manager show that all the drivers are installed correctly?
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling all the creative stuff?
Did you install the software off the disc or download it? I highly recomend downloading the software instead of using the cd. The cd usually has old software/drivers.
