Convering 15mm Brits into Sikhs for 1846

According to the books on the subject of the Sikh Wars, the Sikhs used outdated
British coats. I am wondering if anyone knows when the uniform coat worn by
the sikhs was worn by the british, and if anyone knows of any 15mm figures in
the same coats?

I've been looking for multiple sikh poses for this line in 15mm and waited
nearly 3 years for this project. Unfortunately Chris Feree's line is still not
available and Fuedal is the only maker in 15mm.

I don't want to wait anymore, so I figure that I can convert the brit troops
into Sikhs by molding putty to the base of the shako and form it into a
turban--I think it will work.
