My dad needs a new Laptop for work. He's on the road a lot so Low Power Consumption would be good. He wants a fast and reliable laptop with enough space to store all of his work. Their will be no games at all on this one. He has no preference for manufacturer.

What is he going to do with it? Software, specifically?

And a 16" notebook isn't exactly a road-warrior. He should be thinking 14" or smaller.
