So a few months ago when I was looking for a computer (I ended up with an asus g60vx laptop) I noticed that asus anounced their new gaming desktop. Since then I have not seen the price of one of them yet or even heard them mentioned by companies that sell computers. So my question is asus selling them to just one company or have they not started selling them yet? And if they have then where have they started selling? One last note is that on the website that I have linked here is says, "Embedded with the World's Fastest single GPU solution GeForce GTX285" which is not true anymore at least to my knowledge.

It's probably not released yet. I haven't been able to find anything about it being sold already. From Engadget, it looks like the GPU is updated to an ATI Radeon HD 5870. http://www.engadget.com/2010/05/31/asus-showcases-rog-cg8490-gaming-desktop-core-i7-980x-dual-oc/
