My hard drive seems to be skipping or something lately when i try to play music loud on it. I'm pretty sure the bass from the subwoofer must be shaking it or something and causing the problem but i cant seem to find a cure for it. I've had my current speakers for over a year now but it only recently started happening when im playing music. the speakers arent that powerful anyways. the sub is 20watts and 4-5 feet away from the computer so it shouldnt be a problem. would this be a bad hard drive or something? i was also wondering if i could just buffer the songs onto the memory instead of constantly reading the hard drive. any help is welcome.

Are you using wxp? Anyway, it is not an HD problema, it is an XP or the sound system somewhere along the line.

The songs are being buffered into memory.
Start playing an MP3 then delete it, the song keeps playing :)

Play with it a little, stick the card into different PCI, reinstall XP, change output in the sofware (4.1 to 2.1 or something), but please don't blame hard working HD.
