LNXX650 vs KDLW series... please help me rate them!!

Ok, I am down to 2 tv sets i am really interested in .... The Samsung A650/A850 and the Sony kdlW series. I asked around at CC,BB and sears and more people are saying the Samsung is better and they all point to the 20k more contrast ratio - one guy did mention the glossy screen which does look nice. None of them really said anything about the lag people here been talking about for gaming(even a gamer who plays through his PC on the samsung). I looked at both sets and the picture quality to me seems to give a slight edge to the samsung but if the lag is better on sony that might tip me to sony instead.

So I am wondering if any owners here can rate on a 5 point scale on the following attributes:
Console Gaming:
PC gaming:
HD watching:
Clouding/flashlightning problem(5 means "no big deal" ):

Also, does the a850 have less of the problems mentioned or it doesn't change?
Or maybe suggest another set without the clouding/flashlightning problems?
