Hey Everyone,

I'm in the need of some new speakers. I would like 2 speakers and a sub. I guess they call those 2.1 speakers? (Sorry I'm a noob). Anyways I'm looking for somethign decent with alittle bit of punch when it comes to the speakers and sub. However I'm not looking for anything extremly expensive. (Nor really cheap). Just something in the middle =)

Online I've seen the Logitech Z-2300's for around $70.

If you stretch your budget a little bit, to about $120, the Altec Lansing MX5021s are phenomenal and totally in a different class in terms of music clarity. As far as the sub goes both should be comparable, if you are just looking for the thump and sound quality isn't your first concern.

Well I've seen the Z 2300 around $100 for canadian relatiler's online, but after shipping and tax, just dosn't feel like that great of a deal. Seems like an amazing speaker though. I am more or less looking for something that will give me the most bang for my buck. If there are speaker sets that are $50 with quality of those that sell for highier, I would be much more happier with something along those lines.

Well I just went ahead and bought the Logitech Z 5300-e .
I got them for about $30 cheaper then the Z 2300 so why not.
