Viewsonic and Dell make good monitors. Dhuckle has the Dell 20" and 24" widescreen, and I believe he has no problems watching video and gaming with them. He likes the 24" better.

And the sign says "You got to have a membership card to get inside" Huh
So I got me a pen and paper And I made up my own little sign</pre><p></font color=red>
I have seen 'interesting' effects on 2405fpws at work when people are trying to make visualisation videos for meetings/workshops & THG seem to have seen similar issues during their review (maybe we're just getting hyper critical)
The problems seem to stem from the Overdrive technology it employs- that *should* get better as the technology improves (used to be called FFD....)
I would consider eyestrain on this tho because that monitor is very bright, 500 cd/m^2, and it would irritate my eyes. Up to the user tho, and you can turn down brightness.
