Sd card capacity problem

Hi,

I recently deleted photos from my SD card. I used a card reader and deleted the photos from the card using the computer screen to see which ones I wanted to delete. When I put the card back in my camera, it gave me the CARD FULL message. It is as if I had deleted storage capacity along with the photos. So now instead of having 1GB (or capacity for 1,000+ photos) I can only have 437 or so photos. The problem is that I don't want to delete this photos from the card.


When I look for the properties of the card in the computer, it says that it has 1GB capacity but that it is full . That's imposible because I only have 437 or so photos.

What's happening?
