I have a Dimension 8400. I just updated my Bios from a05 to a09 because I was hoping it would allow me to use newer processors. In the update info it does say that it allows support for newer processors, but it did not say which ones. Anyone know what they are or how I could find out.

I'm not sure which processors it lets you use but the Dell 8400 cannot use any processors newer than the Pentium 4. You can't use the Pentium D dual-core processors or the Core 2 processors. The best you can use is a Pentium 4 which is probably what you have. (it's what I have!)
