I have a Lian Li PC-A16 case with 3 case fans. Front bottom of case sucking in, upper-rear blowing out, and a side-fan. They are the stock fans that came with the case. I don't know whether they are 80mm or 120mm.... I know...DUH... I'm no expert here, that's for sure.

About 2 yrs. ago or so, I bought 4 new case fans from a friend. Two are Yate Loon # D12 SL-12 (DC 12 v .30a) with a small white, square MB connector and w/ an attached molex 4 pin. The other two are Papst/ebmpapst #4412 F/2GLL, (12v, 60mA, .72W). The Papst fans only have the little white square female connector. I believe (you tell me) that these are very good fans. I want better cooling for my rig, and I think either pair will be better than the stock fans in the case now. I don't know yet if these are the right size. ...won't have to spend money...nice.

Questions:

1)Of the two, which are better for maximum cooling.
2)If the Papst is better, can I just use the small, white, square connector to the MB, and I don't need the Molex the way the Yate Loon's are set up?

Sorry for my ignorance here...

Help please

Thx
