I acquired this DVD/CD video player from my friend after it wouldn't play any DVD's, thinking I could get it to work with my stellar technological wisdom, but, unfortunately, was unable to.

So basically I would like to know if anyone with this DVD/cd player has gotten cd r/w to work with video, and what possible format.
