I just saw the following ad on craigslist for a 50 inch plasma. Anyone know how much this would cost to be repaired? I really don't know much about TV's so I could use some expert advise. Thanks, you guys are awesome!
PROFESSIONAL BUYERS ONLY: THIS IS A DEAL FOR YOU!!!
MODEL#TH-58PH10UK,SERIAL#PG71720051 JUNE07. THE TV HAS A BROKEN SECOND PLASMA SCREEN BUT OTHER WISE IT'S IN GOOD CONDITION,IF YOU CAN GET THE SCREEN FIXED OR USE IT FOR PARTS.
I'd be skeptical. TH-58P etc... indicates it's a 58" Panasonic plasma, not 50". Plasma's have dropped so much in price, spring for a new one. Plasma's also dim over time, how much has it been used?
Second option is to find the make and model and contact the CEO of that company and ask them to replace/repair it for free. (Less then 5 yrs old) Thats what I did and I got a new LCD out of it instead of my piece of crap Plasma!
