Quake 3 mods

what are some of the top mods out for quake 3? i recently got back into quake 3 and would like to play something other than just Q3 deathmatch.

i heard team fortress for quake3 was quake fortress, is this what its called?
I tried urban terror which is supposed to be like CS i heard, but IMO it doesn't hold a candle to CS (then again UT is only at beta 2.4 as opposed to retail 1.3 for CS)

Excessive, Akimbo, Instagib, Rocket Arena, There are also mods where the only weapon you have is the railgun. There are too many to list.... Just do a search for mods. It is what your preferences are.
