LCD review lacking

So I am in the market to finaly switch over to a LCD display. But as I cruise the net and the tech sights, what do I find? A real lack of reviews, buyers guides and pretty much anything truly helpfull.

On the tech boards people are generaly helpfull but even they for the most part are not experts.

Reviews are few and many are not even up to date.

Every other piece of computer tech has great sights and more in depth reviews than LCD's. Given that for most of us, a Monitor/LCD is a major purchase and somthing we will not be changing for a while, the lack of resourses is fightening.

Someone realy needs to step up to the plate and put a helpful up-to-date sight up that has the experts and the abilite to test and review LCD's in a timely fastion.
