Browse in same window checkbox disabled in Edit File Type ..

Hello All,

We have a portal project that embeds excel sheets into IFrames. Well, some
of our clients are having issues with the excel file opening in excel instead
of the IFrame. We found a fix by going into My Computer -> Tools -> Folder
Options -> File Types, selecting the XLS file type, clicking the advanced
button, and then checking the browse in same window check box. This works
great. But we have one customer who's checkbox is disabled, and we can't
figure out why. He's running xp pro sp2, and logged in as the administrator.
He also has office installed. Any idea's?

of our clients are having issues with the MS Word l file opening in excel instead
of the IFrame. We found a fix by going into My Computer -> Tools -> Folder
Options -> File Types, selecting the DOC file type, clicking the advanced
button, and then checking the browse in same window check box. This works
great. But we have one customer who is using windows vista Home dition and does not showing same option, and we can't
figure out why.
He also has office installed. Any idea's?
