I have a PV 3.4 on an Asus P5GDC Deluxe which admits DDR and DDR2 memory.

If you'd have to choose, what would you get? DDR or DDR2?which brand and memory model would to buy? Which one if we don't take into consideration the price factor?

Thanks a lot!!!

At the same rated speed, DDR offers better performance. And plus, DDR2 is more expensive.

Unless you go with the higher rated DDR2 (667 and beyond), DDR2 offers little advantage over DDR.

Stick with DDR like Brent said. DDR2 is not as fast as DDR is right now.
