hey guys,

i would much rather build my own cablecard ready HTPC but seeing as that is impossible thanks to DRM, is there any OEMs that build cablecard HTPCs using AMD's 780G/790GX chipset?

if not, is there any plans for that in the future (i'm in no rush)? is there any good equivalents in terms of power consumption and HD performance?

budget: about $1000
