My USB sound card (Asus Xonar U1) has a digital S/PDIF -out... problem is, my headphone uses 3x 3.5mm(4 if you include the mic) analog mini-plug (6-8 channel surround). So how am I suppose to connect my headphone to my sound card so I can utilize the headphone's surround sounds capabilies?
Do I need a very rare adapter which I cant seem to find? =( [Something like this, but S/PDIF combatible one: http://www.gateway.com/accessories [...] =1&seg=hm) Or do I need a decoder?
Currectly I use the S/PDIF -out to connect it to my Logetech z-5500. But I really want to use my headphone with 7.1 surround on
Can anyone help please? I have been looking for a solution for this for about a month now...
