Hp deskjet 3820 changed ink cartridge now it wont print

my hp deskjet 3820 won't print! the black cartridge was working, color has never worked. I ran out of black so i changed the cartridge out and now it won't print at all...it tries but no ink is going onto the page...Please help! I work from home and having a working printer is an absolute must!!

Try re-installing the cartridge.
