I have EV powered subwoofer, that the speakers hook into. It lost power a while ago and I just recently took it in to get serviced. They said that it was the power transformer that went out, but they don’t know where they can get ahold of one. Any thoughts??

The manufacturer seems to be hard to reach.

EV - Electro Voice PC/accessory speakers and subwoofer

EV Sonic EX speakers....they were awesome quality (otherwise I would bother trying to fix 'em)

Can you ask your thecnician if they know someone that'll recoil your transformer, if it's really just the transformer that's damage. But if you meant the power supply then unless it's a complicated design then it's posible to just modify something for your equipment. Ask your technician if that's posible.
