Got bad news about BenQ 24in Monitor from BenQ. Is it true?

I got a Response I didnt expect. Here is my Inquiry.

I am looking to Purchase the BenQ FP241WZ 24in lcd monitor. Has this
monitor been released for sale in the US? If so where can it be
purchased and if not when will it be available?

Now I can tell the person who answered this doesnt use English as his first language. No big deal but either he didnt understand the question, I didnt understand the answer, or the biggest news in Displays is that they have killed the FP241WZ? Wasnt this supposed to be the biggest thing is LCD monitors sinced sliced bread? Am I in the Dark about whats been going on or is this guy from BenQ the one who doesnt know what he is talking about?
And what is the deal with the 24in Monitor alot of people have been waiting for?
