Can a re-chargeable battery die if it just sits in the camera too long, without being used? I used it for more than a year...rechargin it on many occasions, and then I stopped using the camera for about 3-5 months and when I went back to use it, the battery was dead. I tried to recharge it, but it would not work. Is this possible??

you'd better take your battery out from camera cause the battery may die and do harm to the camera.i suggest you store your battery in a cool place when it is not used for long time. Hope this help you,good luck!
