Hey guys. I've been watching hulu on my old desktop which had a pentium d processor, 1 gig of ram, and an nvidia 7300 le video card with no problems at all. Hulu was always very smooth. Now I'm trying to watch hulu on a new laptop with a core 2 duo 2.6 gigahertz, 4 gigs of ddr3 ram, and something like an nvidia gt 130m video card, and the videos are very jerky, with a terrible frame rate. Isn't my new computer a lot more powerfull than the old one, even though its a laptop? Why would I be having so much trouble with hulu? Thanks if anyone can help.
could be a number of things. I'd say maybe you're missing a codec or a driver as something with that much power should run hulu video flawlessly. go and check your device manager maybe a driver is missing or corrupted and needs to be installed/reinstalled
