Hard drive transfer

How can the contents of a hard drive from an old computer be transferred to new computer when hard drive is out of the old computer?

Any cloning software ought to work fine for you. Personally I prefer Acronis for such a job but what IMO works best is a fresh install....

Easiest way is to plug the old drive in the new computer. That requires the space in the case and the right interface (IDE or SATA) though. Ohter way is to buy a cheap external enclosure with USB interface for the old disk. When it's connected, you can browser through the content and copy your personal files from ?:\users\<your name> to your new computer / drive.
