Reading over provantage's return policy kind of scares me away from the company. The monitor I want has their "no return" policy on it, so I fear for dead pixels.
Anyone had any dealings w/them involving dead pixels or anything?
If the monitor you want has a "No Return" policy, then verify with Provantage that it can still be returned if it is DOA or "defective".
You should ask them how many dead pixels it will take to be considered "defective".
Ultimately, if the return policy seems too unreasonable, then you should simply avoid Provantage. Saving some $$$ is good, but if it causes you to worry, then that savings is not worth it.
I bought my monitor from Provantage without any worries.
Call them about how many pixels it will take for an LCD monitor to be considered "defective". Most online stores have an 8 dead/stuck pixel policy.
Like I said before, if the policy makes you feel uncomfortable, then skip it. How much cheaper is that monitor on Provantage's site compared to other stores?
