NEW COMPUTER time; Laptop and Desktop

I play WOW first and foremost; both of my computers have become so messed up I am just buying new (tried getting one fixed---500bucks later its worse than before-I am no longer interested in that option). They are both 4 years old (were great in their day). I want to buy online right now; am prepared to spend up to 2500 on each computer....I do not need a monitor, speakers, or anything but the box and its components for the desktop (Using HP w2408h monitor)...I would like each of these to get me through another 3.0-3.5 yrs without being obsolete. Have considered the ASUS w90, an alienware custom, or the gateway P7807u FX (or the 7811.......this system will replace my HP Zd8000 custom job))....have toyed with configurators and am considering area-51 custom x58 for desktop. I do not trust myself to make one so am going with a manufacturer of some type for each.

Im I aiming too high for my needs? Ready to drop money today and tired of dealing with my other busted machines. I want the system fast today and fast enough tomorrow---with WOW in mind at all times.... If I can't gank horde it needs to be because I suck, not because my system sucks!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.....thanx
