So i'm looking to upgrade my Monitor for the holidays,
My dad took mine while i was away and now hes gonna replace it with a brand new one. I used to have a 19" viewsonic widescreen with a 1440 x 900 resolution. Thats been going fine but now for the replacement i'm looking at this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6824009094

The only thing that makes me pause is that i'm still running a BFG 7900 gt oc its working out really well with my current setup but i wanted to know if this card can sustain the higher resolution of the Acer. and would adding SLI'ing by adding a second card help sustain higher resolution? (What is the purpose of SLI anyway)

Keep in mind im running this through a DVI connection

You should be fine, you wont be able to max out, but it should perform adequately
