hey guys i just got a new sammy 245 bw. nice picture and its nice and big but somethings bugging me on it. i noticed on the desktop and stuff that things across the top of the screen seemed to almost have convergence problems, like text and stuff if its white or yellow appears kinda not all lined up with the colors, there will be red or green lines around it. Looking closer it seems like its a viewing angle thing. if im not looking at the top 1/3 of the screen i get it, and if i get down on my kneed the entire top part of the screen looks green and washed out.. the bottom doesn't look like this if i look down though
is this normal? LCDs usually have viewing angle problems but i thought that was side to side not up and down, and its odd that it only seems to do it on the top. I got no dead pixels so i wouldnt' wanna exchange it if this is normal, just curiuos whats up
Top to down viewing angles are usually worse than side to side viewing angles. This is especially true of monitors using cheap TN panels like the Samsung 245BW.
