Hi to everyone,
I am trying to completely restore from my "original" Compaq Presario #7985 2x cd set of Quick Restore. I also created a "Recovery Emergency Diskette" in 2001. I can get the QR to boot and start to run. It even asks to put the "Recovery Diskette" IN then to take it OUT.. It also asks to mount the next CD, says it's working and installing? It then asks to put the first CD back in, it does a "Auto Reboot" says it is installing... then stops with QR error 182:14.

I have tried different combonations? of "CAPS lock" and "NUM lock" off/on without success ?? What else could be my problem and/or does anyone "know" a definite "LOCKS" sequence that should work..??? HELP. Barry Hoggood (retiredbee@hotmail.com). THANKS ahead, Barry
