For example, you can buy the CHIMEI CMV 221D-NBC Black 22" LCD from Newegg.com for $210 after a $30 rebate, tack on $15 for shipping and that ends up being $225. Of course that's assuming you receive the rebate.
Chimei is one of the handful of actual LCD panel manufacturers and is based in China. They also happen to sell monitors under it's own brand name. Same as Samsung, but Samsung's LCD panels are higher quality and more expensive.
It is difficult to determine since most of them are not sold in the US and not many people post opinions on these monitors because they are considered "small".
They all have similar specs, but I would probably choose the Samsung 732N+.
